How Watertech Reverse Osmosis Systems Operate

• STEP 1: Water is pumped through a sand media filter to remove any suspended particles that could otherwise clog the RO membranes.
• STEP 2: An anti-scalant, such as GE Hypersperse MSI 310, is added to prevent scaling on the RO membranes. This is continuously dosed into the pipeline before the reverse osmosis process.
• STEP 3: pH adjustment is performed using a chemical dosing pump and tank to maintain the water’s natural taste and stability.
• STEP 4: The pre-treated water passes through the reverse osmosis unit, which significantly reduces Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and conditions the water. This treated water can then be stored in a clean water tank as specified by the client.
• STEP 5: Before bottling or direct consumption, the water goes through a cartridge filter and UV sterilization or, if directly consumed, chlorination.
